Manitou Springs High School serves approximately 425 students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 who reside in the communities of Manitou Springs, Cascade, Green Mountain Falls, Chipita Park, Crystal Park, and Cedar Heights. In addition, approximately half of our students “choice” into our high school from other towns in El Paso and Teller Counties. We offer a small town educational environment, and we are driven to serve our children and our communities in alignment with our core values: relationships, deep learning, and opportunity.
At Manitou Springs High School, we are proud of our success in meeting the needs of every student. In addition to a challenging academic curriculum, including Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment course offerings, Manitou Springs High School offers comprehensive art, physical education, music, computer technology, special education, and gifted/talented instruction. Students may choose from many enriching after school programs such as classes through Connect 14, clubs, activities, and athletics.
Manitou Springs School District 14 schools have consistently received a “High” rating on the Colorado State Accountability Report. Average MSHS class size is 22 students. Additionally, MSHS is proud to have earned recognition as a US News & World Reports Best High School and qualification as an Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll School. Furthermore, Manitou Springs High School was a finalist for the Colorado Masonic High School of the Year award in 2023.
